Junior Racing Last Week
|
Brenden Spetz (15 yrs old) scored a 4th place finish in the brutal Mike Horgan Hill Climb. His time of 1:47 up
Boulder Canyon, Magnolia and the Eldora shelf
road would have been good enough for 2nd in the 17-18 category as
well as beating half of the cat 4 field.
Drake Madigan (15 yrs old) got 5th in the 3rd Winter Park Cross Country Mountain Bike Race and 2nd last week at the Boulder Short Track race. Gustav Wold finished 3rd right behind his teammate.
Phelan Kostur (16 yrs old) recently completed an 85-mile ride, traversing Rocky Mountain National Park from the East gate to the West and back. That's over 8,000 feet of climbing, all at 8,000 feet or higher!
