Blue
Sky Velo is getting HUGE!
|
If you haven't
noticed, there are Blue Sky Velo jerseys EVERYWHERE - even out of state!
Lee raced on the roads of New York, Kyle raced a triathlon in Texas (and
is heading to another in Florida). And in Colorado, Blue Sky'ers have
raced across the state - Lamar, Salida, Crested Butte, Snowmass, Grand
Junction, etc. In fact, with 124 current team members (riding MTB,
'Cross, Road or Cruisers) and more than 306 top 10 finishes (last 24
months) we're making a serious impact on the Colorado cycling scene!
Check out a few highlights on www.blueskyvelo.com
and pass along to anyone you think may be interested in sponsoring Blue
Sky Velo.
Unfortunately, there are a couple of our troops who
are injured - when you see them 'hobbling' around please tell them hi
and keep them in your thoughts: - Tamara Gaffney - stress fracture
in a bone and on crutches (but completed 8 triathlons this summer before
she gave in to the doctors advice - Ron Dreasher (bumps &
bruises) and Dave Jones (hairline fracture in the hip) - both
experienced good falls training for 'cross - Brad Erdner - the
craziest fall of them all - Brad was stopped in his tracks and broke his
clavicle and hand when a kid's skateboard slung between his wheels and
immediately stopped the bike throwing him over the bars.
End of
Summer BBQ - Please come join us at the
Union Reservoir in Longmont tomorrow (Saturday 9/8) at 1:00 pm. RSVP to
Lee. If you're interested in
joining the team, if you're a sponsor, if you're on the team, if you're
family of someone on the team.... you are all welcome (just RSVP
please). See you tomorrow.
Please keep sending your results and stories to me. And ask
your friends, family, prospective team members to sign up for the
newsletter here: https://app.expressemailmarketing.com/Survey.aspx?SFID=18593
